The Festival of Ridvan

The Festival of Ridvan is the most sacred Baha'i holiday and is celebrated from 21 April to 2 May. It commemorates the anniversary of Baha'u'llah's declaration in 1863 that He was the Promised One of all earlier religions. Soon afterwards, Baha'u'llah went into exile - to Constantinople (now Istanbul, Turkey).
