Hoang Phap Pagoda: The seven days of cultivation course in 70th

On 8th April 2012 (falls on 18th March on the Dragon Year), Hoang Phap Pagoda start a new the seven days of cultivation course in 70th, and more 2,500 Buddhists come to attend this course.

 

In the morning, all of the Buddhists were taught about moving, workship when eating and arranging into temple dining hall.

In the afternoon, Venerable Thich Chan Tinh is temple master, who talk about Buddha’s cultivation course rule and encourage the Buddhists to return the Pagoda for cultivation more and more.

 

 

In the talking, the Ven told about the reason why Hoang Phap Pagoda are only three courses of seven days cultivation in 2012 (to be decreased 2 course compared last years), he explained that to be create other temple and monastery will be organized the seven days of Buddha’s cultivation course, as the same time, it will be help to balance and stable between Buddhist studying and Buddhist activities for all the monks at Hoang Phap. And the last reason is to be limited about material facilities. All of these reasons, Ven Thich Chan Tinh hope to take delight from all of Buddhists.

 

Because of limiting of the material facilities at temple, so it can not enough meet to demand most of Buddhists, it’s also reason of mind, he encourage all of Buddhists should practice blessings and wisdom at the same time, the Buddhists are not only Buddha recitation but also charity hard working to get achievement from the cultivation. With the practices Buddhism at home, you should live and work all of your responsibility with your family, your career, it’s also practice Buddhism, it will corporate to build up society and to service for the way or method to attain nirvana.

 

 

At the talk ending, Venerable advised to all of Buddhists, who should carry out the cultivation rule to Bodhi-mandala will get seriously, purely.

After this talking, all of them started the seven days of Buddha’s cultivation course in 70th, it’s also the first one from this Dragon Year.
