The next International Buddhist Conference will be held in 2012 on the Theravada Buddhist island of Sri Lanka.
The title and theme of it is “New Millennium Challenges for Buddhism,” according to the Sri Lanka Minister of Higher Education, S.B. Dissanayake. The conference will be held from February 17-19 at the Buddhasravaka Bhiksu University, Anuradhapura.
