In memoriam Revd Professor Donato Valentini, SDB

It is with sadness that the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity (PCPCU) announces the death of Reverend Professor Donato Valentini, SDB, who passed away on 18 January at the age of 93.

Professor of Ecclesiology at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Salesian University, he was a Consultor of the PCPCU from 1997 to 2012.

The funeral will be held tomorrow Wednesday 20 January at 11.00 am at the chapel of the Pontifical Salesian University presided over by Cardinal Walter Kasper, Emeritus President of the PCPCU.
