The Creator & His creation

God says: [17:71] Indeed, We have honoured the children of Adam, and carried them by land and sea, and given them of good things and exalted them far above many of those whom We have created.

Now, we KNOW bits about God. One thing is for sure that, we are his best creation…

Well, Next thing now: Who are these Prophets? And, how do we recognize them? Should we follow them? Follow one of them or all of them? What do you think?

[2:214] Mankind were one community, then they differed among themselves, so Allah raised Prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners, and sent down with them the Book containing the truth that He might judge between the people wherein they differed. But then they began to differ about the Book, and none differed about it except those to whom it was given, after clear Signs had come to them, out of envy towards one another. Now has Allah, by His command, guided the believers to the truth in regard to which they (the unbelievers) differed; and Allah guides whomsoever He pleases to the right path.

Confused? Allow me to take back you to the time when mankind was created and I will also tell you the answers for the above questions, be assured.

And when thy Lord said to the angels: ‘I am about to place a vicegerent in the earth,’

They said: ‘Wilt Thou place therein such as will cause disorder in it, and shed blood? — and we glorify Thee with Thy praise and extol Thy holiness.’

He answered: ‘I know what you know not.’ [Chapter 2: Verse 31]

A research shows that the humans have been living on this planet since 176,000 years approximately. The archaeological discoveries therefore lead us to believe that humans had inhabited in this world before, actually much before the advent of our generation Adam, approx. 6000 years ago. Now this contradicts the statement of the Bible that Adam was the first man created on earth (Genesis 1:26 to 2:8).

Didn’t I say ‘Few Concepts of the Bible are corrupted’ today?

Much earlier than the above mentioned discoveries became public, The Promised Prophet (pbuh), the re-advent of Jesus, His Holiness Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) had said, that:

“We believe in the existence of human race before Adam”. We do not accept that the world began with the birth of ‘this’ Adam (of 6000 years ago) or that before this there was nothing, and God was, as it were idle and without work. Neither do we claim that all mankind are the progeny of the self-same Adam.

On the contrary we hold that this Adam was not the first man on this planet, Earth. Mankind existed even before him, as is hinted by the Quran, in the worlds of the Lord itself, where He says referring to Adam, “I am about to place a vicegerent (Khalifa) in the earth.” Khalifa (Arabic word) means ‘successor’, so it is clear that man existed even before Adam. (Malfooza’at Vol. 10, Page 426).

Muhyud-Din Ibn Arabi, the great Muslim mystic reminds us a saying of the Holy Prophet (Pbuh) that God had brought into being no less than a (100,000) hundred thousand Adams (peace be upon them all) (Futuhat ii, p. 607)

All mankind was created with the patented duty to worship the Lord as the lord says… I have created men so that they should worship me. (Qur’an 51: 57).

We’ll discuss more on this later, please excuse me now. We were to learn the basics right? Let’s begin then.

The Basics: Let’s discuss God, His Prophets, His Books and His Religions in brief.

Bismi-llahi r-rahmani r-rahim [In The Name Of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Ever Merciful]

We already learned a bit about our lord, the only God, didn’t we? If you don’t remember then go back and read it here @ Who/What/Where is God?

Others, please continue.

God’s Prophets:

Nations have risen and fallen, civilizations have flourished and perished, and many cycles of Mankind have appeared and disappeared. And to lead all of these, to show and guide them along the right path, the messengers were sent. God, the One, just wants all mankind to live with peace, so were sent the prophets as messengers of the lord to promote peace.

You see my point? The below will help you understand better. The Qur’an says:

…there is a Guide for every people. (Ch.13:V.8)

…there is no people to whom a Warner has not been sent. (Ch.35:V.25)

Let’s check the definitions:

Prophets: are the chosen ones from the Lord, sent with laws/guidelines to reform the world, bring peace and harmony.

Books: are the laws or the commandments from God (few suited to a particular prophet’s time and one was to last forever).

Religion: is a system of beliefs which includes code of ethics and philosophy of life.
