In collaboration with the “Selfiestreet” digital platform, the Dicastery for Communication is set to broadcast official Vatican images and multimedia content on giant digital screens in prominent locations across Rome and Milan.
A Selfiestreet giant screen
The Dicastery for Communication has announced a new initiative to disseminate official content related to the Holy See through the digital screen network operated by the Italian digital platform Selfiestreet.
Beginning on 17 May, the project will feature a daily schedule of images, video, and special broadcasts in highly visible public spaces in Rome and Milan.
The initiative is intended to bring the voice and activities of the Holy See to a wider audience through contemporary forms of digital communication.
In the coming months, the project is expected to expand progressively to additional screens in other Italian cities, further extending the reach of Vatican content beyond traditional media platforms.
The collaboration builds on an earlier visual communication campaign promoted during the 2025 Christmas season, when selected images of Pope Leo XIV and messages inspired by Christmas were displayed on giant digital screens near Saint Peter’s Basilica.
